We partner closely with <strong>Sales, Revenue Operations, and Revenue Accounting</strong> to enable growth while protecting Pinterest from credit losses.As a <strong>Credit Analyst</strong>, you’ll help define how we evaluate risk, set credit limits and payment terms, and keep our order‑to‑cash process running smoothly.</p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Assess advertiser and agency <strong>creditworthiness</strong> using financial information, payment history, credit agency data, and internal risk tools.</li> <li>Set,maintain, and adjust <strong>credit limits and payment terms</strong> within defined approval matrices, and escalate higher‑risk or high‑value accounts to Credit leadership.</li> <li>Review and decision <strong>credit holds</strong> on insertion orders / PinOrders — approving within authority, conditioning approval (e.g., guarantees, deposits, shorter terms), or declining with clear rationale.</li> <li>Partner with <strong>Collections</strong> to resolve past‑due balances to help mitigate credit risk and reduce potential losses.</li> <li>Help prepare <strong>quarterly AR reserve analyses</strong> and support SOX‑relevant controls by maintaining accurate documentation and audit‑ready workpapers.</li> <li>Manage a queue of cases in <strong>Salesforce</strong> and other internal tools, meeting SLAs while keeping data (credit limits, terms, risk codes) complete and accurate.</li> <li>Collaborate with <strong>Sales, RevOps, and Accounting</strong> to explain credit decisions, discuss risk appetite, and align on strategies for strategic or complex accounts.</li> <li>Identify and help drive <strong>process and tooling improvements</strong> (for example, reducing unnecessary manual reviews, clarifying thresholds, or improving automation coverage).</li> <li>Leverage <strong>data analysis </strong>to uncover strategic insights, support decision-making, and identify opportunities to improve credit risk processes, policies, and outcomes. </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>What We’re Looking For:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Experience:</strong></li> <ul> <li>2+ years of experience in <strong>B2B risk, credit, corporate lending, banking, or order‑to‑cash / AR</strong> roles, preferably in a tech, media, or advertising environment.</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration , or equivalent experience.</li> </ul> <li><strong>Technical skills:</strong></li> <ul> <li>Working knowledge of <strong>credit analysis</strong> (financial statements, capital markets, payment behavior, qualitative risk factors).</li> <li>Experience with <strong>ERP</strong> and <strong>CRM</strong> or case‑management tools (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Salesforce) and strong comfort working in queues.</li> <li>Familiarity with <strong>order‑to‑cash</strong> processes (order booking, billing, collections, cash application, AR reserves).</li> </ul> <li><strong>Analytical & operational skills:</strong></li> <ul> <li>Strong <strong>analytical judgment</strong> and attention to detail; comfortable making decisions within policy and knowing when to escalate.</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple requests at once, prioritize effectively, and consistently meet turnaround times.</li> <li><strong>SQL experience preferred</strong>; ability to query, analyze, and interpret data via tools like<strong> Hive and Snowflake</strong> to support credit, risk, and risk mitigation decision-making.</li> <li>Experience using <strong>AI tools preferred</strong> to improve productivity, support analysis, automate workflows, and enhance decision-making.</li> </ul> <li><strong>Communication & collaboration:</strong></li> <ul> <li>Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills; able to explain credit decisions and policy in a way that is easy for non‑finance partners to understand.</li> <li>Proven track record of building productive relationships with <strong>Clients,</strong> <strong>Sales, Operations, and Finance</strong> partners.</li> </ul> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Relocation Statement:</strong></p> <ul> <li>This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.
