Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of RemoteTalent (the "Platform"), a remote-tech job marketplace operated by RemoteTalent. By using the Platform you accept these terms.

1. Accounts

You may create an account as a candidate or as a company. You are responsible for the information you post and for keeping your credentials confidential. One account = one type (candidate or company).

2. Acceptable use

You will not post fake, discriminatory or unlawful jobs, or profiles that impersonate others. We may remove content and suspend accounts that violate these terms.

3. Job postings and payments

Companies pay per posting at the rates shown on Pricing. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store card data. Postings are non-refundable once published; unused credits in a pack are refundable for 14 days from purchase.

4. Applications

When you apply, we share your name, username, cover note and link to your profile with the company that posted the job. The company may update your application status (viewed, shortlisted, rejected).

5. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of content you post (profile, CV, job). You grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it on the Platform and syndicate jobs to aggregators like Google for Jobs.

6. No warranties

The Platform is provided "as is". We do not warrant the accuracy of jobs or profiles. Verify counterparties before accepting employment or hiring.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our aggregate liability for any one event is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before that event.

8. Termination

You may delete your account anytime from Settings. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Disputes go to the competent courts in Spain, without prejudice to EU consumer rights.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. We will notify you reasonably in advance if changes materially affect your use. The "Last updated" date above reflects the version in force.
